The Biden administration is considering reviving the practice of detaining immigrants crossing the border illegally. What impact will this have on human rights and does it signal a partial return to Trump-era immigration policy? Directions taken by the current leadership of the Labour Party have raised questions not just about the next election, but the ideology on which Labour should base itself on. How do we apply social democracy to the modern age, and can Labour win with a more bold philosophical offer to the electorate? It has been a turbulent time for the Conservatives. Since Boris Johnson took power, there have been various scandals, accusations and resignations. In this article, we take a retrospective look at the last four years of Tory government. There is much speculation about America’s next president, and the runners and riders wanting a shot in the White House. Who does this involve, and what can we expect in the coming months?
