The ongoing Saudi-Iranian geopolitical conflict has caused tensions not just in the Middle East but has seen involvement from foreign superpowers such as China. Conclusive peace talks could be about to materialise, but how substantial are they, and what will this mean for the conflict? The Biden administration is considering reviving the practice of detaining immigrants crossing the border illegally. What impact will this have on human rights and does it signal a partial return to Trump-era immigration policy?
